This Competition Action Enhancement Kit is a drop-in metal setup. It’s designed to shave about 4 pounds off your trigger pull — starting from that stock 7 to 8 pound range, you’re looking at a clean, repeatable break around 3 to 4 pounds. No guesswork, no filing, no sending the frame off to a smith in another state. The kit includes shot-peened striker and trigger return springs. That’s not marketing fluff — shot-peening relieves stress points and extends service life, so you’re not swapping springs every other match.

Installation is straightforward for someone with basic armorer experience. We recommend having a gunsmith or certified armorer do it if you’re not comfortable punching out roll pins and resetting sear engagement. If you’ve already upgraded to an Apex Polymer or Aluminum Action Enhancement Trigger, this kit is fully compatible and will finish out that build nicely.
